This local Hotel was built in 2019 and it offers spectacular views and a full Spa! HS HOTSSON Smart Chapala -- Book on Hotels.com. All rooms have air conditioning, WIFI, cable TV, desk, safe, hair dryer, free local calls. The hotel offers a washer and dryer which makes it convenient to pack light! There are 3 mineral baths, two swimming pools, a sauna and nature trails. The Junior and Master suites offer a small kitchen area. It has reading and resting areas and covered parking.  The Hotel is located right off the highway coming into Chapala. For all my local amigas - just book an appointment, without a room, for a "Relaxing Massage + Moisturizing Facial" for 1,500 pesos. Stay the night for $70 USD! Ahhh, nothing like living in paradise! Sierra Vista Mazamitla

This beautiful property has 24 units and it is located just 4 miles from centro Mazamitla, Jalisco. The location is in the trees with walking trails, ATV units to rent and archery. The cabins and rooms have a fully equipped kitchen, fireplaces and WIFI for an extra 50 pesos per night. Dogs are allowed for an extra fee of 375 pesos per nite per pet. Renting a cabin that sleeps 8 for $110 per night is a deal! Share the cost and ENJOY. Drive into town and just as you pass the Best Western Hotel, make a sharp right turn and WHALA, you arrived at our favorite "Ribba" steak house. Ribba is also open for a grand breakfast. If you are visiting in Guadalajara, the best place to shop is in the unique suburb of Guad known as Tlaquepaque! Simply take a cab from whatever hotel you are staying at and the driver will deliver you within minutes. With glorious shopping and a wide choice of fine dining, at our favorite restaurant "El Patio" you will be entertained by professional female Mariachis. Historically, Guadalajara is the birthplace for Mariachi music. Annually a global Mariachi festival is hosted in Guad every August. This event fills hotels.  We hope this inspires a visit.

Villa Del Angel

This sweet spot in the road is just 45 minutes from our casa. The location is on top of the hill above Ajijic and you can walk through the village and shop and eat well. "Draw close to Me, and I will draw close to you." Whenever it is time for me to seek the Lord with all my heart, and all my attention, I take some time to "get-a-way" to study God's Word, and to take time in silence to listen to what the Holy Spirit wants to highlight. It was a delightful week at Villa Del Angel is a lower room with a king sized bed equipped with a private jacuzzi tub, garden view, Egyptian sheets, daily room service, and a wonderful breakfast. My goal is to become and remain the best I can as a host of the Holy Spirit. Praising God for providing all the beauty of this special local spot in the road. My time in the Bible was incredible. He saturated my mind as I reflected on all He showed me during my daily walks about Ajijic. Mike joined me for a day of swimming and we ventured into Ajijic on foot and discovered new fabulous places to dine.
